Terafom – heat and sound insulation material based on chemically crosslinked foamed polyethylene
Terafom – heat and sound insulation material based on chemically crosslinked foamed polyethylene
Complex waterproof, heat and sound insulating material.
Product composition: chemically cross-linked polyethylene foam, waterproofing high-strength polyethylene film.
Scope of application
- The material is used in construction for protection from impact noise, thermal insulation and waterproofing of floors, installation of a "floating floor" (with a thickness of 4 mm or more), etc.
- Terafom of 3 mm thickness is used as a waterproofing material for floor coverings
Technical information
- excellent soundproofing (reduction of the impact noise index), hydro- and heat-insulating properties
- strong and elastic, withstands significant dynamic and static loads
- used when installing a "floating floor" for noise insulation in accordance with DSTU-N B V.1.1-34
- complies with fire safety standards
- suitable for residential buildings and industrial buildings, public facilities
- environmentally friendly, does not contain substances harmful to human and animal life
